10th scale crawling is really HOT!

Radio controlled rock crawling might just be the fastest growing niche out there.  Looking at all the new products recently released from Proline, as well as many other manufacturers, tells us that 10th scale crawling is really HOT! With five different Proline tires to choose from to clad your crawler with, each in two different rubber compounds, the venerable M2 and the super soft M3, I decided that an intra-company 2.2 tire test was a must. The line up consisted of the new Flat Iron, Hammer and Badlands, accompanied by the legendary Moab and Masher 2000. It took me about 40 hours to compile results from the intense testing I did, along with a couple of hard-core crawling buddies.  Requests and demand for detailed information about Proline tires throughout the RC crawling community was eating at me and I wanted to deliver what the enthusiasts wanted.

Finally, a choice of more than two crawling tires, that actually work!

Proline came to the table and served up new tires that will surely knock every rock crawlers off of their feet! These three newest designs to choose from are going to be tough to beat during the Summer Series Events around the country and of course, at the National Rock Crawling Finals in Moab, Utah, this September. If you want to check out the results to find out which tire is for your crawler, you can see the results here on the Proline Racing home page or click, surf or crawl over to the www.rccrawler.com forums to see which tire is king of the rocks. It was a blast conducting this test, getting together with the guys and beating up on my rig to see which tire did what.  The scenery in our crawling park in Colorado Springs, CO is also something to behold and it’s literally right in the middle of town. Check out where our local competitions are held in these pictures!  Later!
