Hey hey everybody!!! It’s been a while since my last Blog…..work has been extremely busy lately and spare time has been few and far between. In fact, I just returned from an un-expected last minute trip to Taiwan to tie up some loose ends with some sample bikes. The trip ended up being a success but it was definitely slam-packed with work. Every time I travel for work I can’t wait to get back home to So-Cal……traveling to other countries and places has really made me have a new appreciation for where I live.

This weekend I went to the beach and a great time just relaxing and getting a tan. It was so nice outside and the weather was insane!!! So-Cal is definitely one of the greatest places in the world to live and it’s easy to see why so many people choose to vacation here. Anyway I hope you’re all doing well and having fun.

Hello everyone!! Well its springtime now and you know what that means – spring-cleaning!! As I was walking into my garage this past weekend to do some wrenching on my nitro whip’s, I looked around and was inspired to do some cleaning (actually, my lady called me out and said “I was straight slippin’ on the garage etiquette” – so you know I had to do work son!!! Can’t be havin’ a dirty garage.) Anyway, as I was rambling through some things I struck gold!!! I found the only 1/10th scale off-road buggy body that I kept from back in my electric days with associated.

This is the “Mirage” body that was made by RCPS (Cliff Lett’s company at the time) with a custom airbrush paint job by yours truly. Basically, this was the body of choice to run on the aluminum chassis RC10 whether you were sponsored or not – I bought many of them before I got picked up. So before I knew it, I had been staring at the body for half an hour as it had sparked many memories. The garage cleaning and my wrenching did finally get done and I was so psyched that I found that body – nostalgia for sure. Good times!!!! CR

Well this past week was pretty interesting. I work for a bicycle company as the BMX product development manager and travel often for work projects. This past week I was in Taiwan for a major trade show and vendor relations. After the trade show ended, I traveled by van to visit some vendors. During the drive we (some co-workers and I) encountered a major political campaign march in the streets of down town Taipei, Taiwan. We were completely unaware that they were preparing for elections in Taiwan. Anyway, it was really cool to see and I was able to snap a few photos – we were all having such a good time seeing the sites and occasionally interacting with the crowd that we barely noticed that it took us an hour to drive 7 miles!!!!! Crazy! Well, hope all is good and I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming races. Later!!

Hello everyone. My name is Chris Raceles and I am very psyched to be a blogger on Pro-Line’s new web site! I’ve been an RC enthusiast and racer for a very long time now and have been a Pro-Line sponsored driver since the early 90’s (Wow I just felt kinda old! I can remember it like yesterday when Associated released the “Stealth” transmission for the RC10 – OG son!). Some of you old school Southern California racers may remember me from the RCH days in Costa Mesa. Back then I ran for Associated, Reedy, Airtronics, Pro-Line and RCPS (Cliff Lett was way ahead of his time with the RCPS body for the RC10) and raced three times a week on a regular basis with guys like Mark Pavidis, Brian Kinwald, Cliff Lett, Steve Chamberlain, etc.. Jumping forward to current, I am completely psyched on nitro off-road racing! It’s like moto without actually riding (I am also an avid BMX & Motocross enthusiast).
