These past couple of weeks I have been busy with the RCX Expo, the ROAR Truck Nats at the Nitro Pit, and all of the local series races. Buggy Nationals are just around the corner. It seems like this year has been one big event after another. It’s hard to stay focused when things don’t go your way and you always feel rushed. Never anytime to relax or recover. :P
Sometimes I tell myself I am going to take a break! Yeah right, I would miss seeing all of my friends down at the track. So when I get caught up in all of the competition, the politics, and the pressure of racing. I take a step back, take a deep breath and remember what I enjoy about racing. I really enjoy racing, the competition, and all of the great people I have met from this exciting hobby!
I am fortunate for all of the wonderful opportunities that have come my way because of this great hobby. I have been on TV shows like: Inside R/C, American hot rod, Nine on the town, and a ton of local news coverage. I guess that is the life of a racer. :)
